Our Environmental Management approach for both the Army and the Air Force takes on two distinctly different management approaches. Our Hazardous Substance Reduction Program is an innovative approach with the foundational premise of “compliance through pollution prevention” to build a framework that supports all compliance media by interconnecting mutually beneficial elements of each. This interconnectivity then becomes a catalyst for teamwork and efficiency increases across entire compliance programs. Our program restructures the Hazardous Waste, Hazardous Materials and Pollution Prevention programs into an integrated framework that facilitates reduction in Hazardous Waste generation and disposal costs. Our work through our ACC HazMart contracts with the Air Force are based on the concept that all hazardous materials are ordered, stored, processed and controlled through a central facility on the installation or base. The Chenega team provides a full service to include regulatory compliance and management to full remediation of work sites and areas. Our work forces have performed on contracts both on CONUS and OCONUS and take on projects of increasing complexity.
